More Information
The Good Hurt has a sound that’s difficult to classify. As a Seattle based band in the midst of the alt-country and folk dominated sounds of the Pacific Northwest music scene, they stand unapologetically apart from their contemporaries somewhere along the lines of pop, soul, indie rock and at times even alternative. The band is often compared to a wide range of varying popular musical acts – both, past and present – drawing influence as much from The Red Hot Chili Peppers as they do from 1960’s English rock band, The Zombies.
Selling out shows from Seattle to San Francisco and winning over the ears of listeners in new cities across the western US – The Good Hurt is preparing for another large scale tour in September around the release of their album. With a tireless work ethic, constant touring, songs that are catchy and complex and with an irrefutably captivating live show, they tend to make die hard fans out of those listening through a stereo and those attending live shows alike. Their album (title tba) will be released independently in Summer 2011.
