Outrageous, bizarre, and uniquely original, few DJs have made as much of a splash in the dancehall scene as Eek-A-Mouse. Standing at 6'6" above sea level, he has a commanding presence one cannot ignore. He's an artist who has created a style all his own, utilizing reggae, rock and hip hop rhythms to complement his sometimes humorous and sometimes very poignant lyrics. Eek-A-Mouse is the originator and finest exponent of that particular form of reggae which has been known as "sing-jay" where singing and DJing (rapping) work in and out throughout a song. |
